Learn what to do when you are no longer able to open Creative Cloud apps and they crash when you try to open them. When you launch some Creative Cloud apps, the application window is briefly displayed, and then the application exits without an error message. This usually occurs when an update is pending for your Creative Cloud app or for the Creative Cloud desktop app. Try the following solutions in the given order. Go to the next solution only if a preceding one doesn't fix the issue.
Sign out of your Creative Cloud account, and then sign back in. This resets the account information, which allows the Creative Cloud app to launch. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. Select the icon in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar. Already using the latest version of the Creative Cloud desktop app? Go directly to the next solution. In the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to the Apps tab, and then select Updates.

How to fix the issue. Solution 1: Sign out and sign back in. Select the Account icon in the upper right, and then select Sign out.

In the Updates screen, select Check for updates. Once updated, try opening your Creative Cloud app again.
